BL8x0c i2 - How do you locate the HP Smart Array P410i Controller

I am trying to see if there is a way to find out the firmware version of the BL890c i2 blade HP Smart Array P410i Controller that my system is running.  I am not in a position to shut it down, as I think it does display it during boot time.  Is there a way to view the version through an OpenVMS lexical, or from the iLO?   Thanks!

Hi,

 

you may either check the console log on the iLO for the last boot up or use MSA$UTIL.

 

The console log on iLO (hpiLO-> CL) should contain a line like the following for each P410i controller:
  HP Smart Array P410i Controller (version 5.16)
  Currently the controller is in RAID mode

 

The MSA$UTIL should give firmware information with the show version command (MSA> show version).
