Re: D2220sb can be use with BL460c Gen9 ?
Thank you for your Information.
but, I'm already read that Advisory and I can't fix my problem of do'nt recognize D2220sb by BL460c Gen9.
Step.2 of Advisory,
~~
Clear the ProLiant BL460c Gen 9 Server Blade NVRAM using Platform Configurator via ROM-Based Setup Utility (RBSU) and reboot.
~~
This mean is
RBSU -> System Default Options -> Restore System Default Settings
or
RBSU -> System Default Options -> Restore Manufacture Default Settings
It is correct?
If not and other operation is required then please step of Clear the ProLiant BL460c Gen 9 Server Blade NVRAM.

Re: D2220sb can be use with BL460c Gen9 ?
Hi,
The setting is:
RBSU -> System Default Options -> Restore Manufacture Default Settings
One can always settings in RBSU and save them as System Default Settings and when there are further changes made to the RBSU configuration and there are issues, the System Default Settings can be used to switch the server to the settings which were saved so.
Restore Manufacture Default Settings resets the settings to factory defaults. In this instance please use this option.

Re: D2220sb can be use with BL460c Gen9 ?
Hi,
The advisory states the following:
Note: The HP D2220sb Storage Blade is only supported with one of the two embedded storage controllers on the HP ProLiant BL460c Gen 9 Server:
- HP Smart Array P246br storage controller with version 2.10 firmware (or later)
- Embedded SATA
Hope either of the above controllers are being used to connect to the HP D2220sb Storage Blade.
If so and the issue is still not resolved, then contact HP Support for further assistance.
Regards,
Vijayasarathy

Re: D2220sb can be use with BL460c Gen9 ?
Hi,
someone able to explain me the technical background why D2220sb is only working with P246br and not P244br? (and why it's working with B140i)
Thx

Re: D2220sb can be use with BL460c Gen9 ?
Another option is to remove p244br from your blase server so it will recognize p420 controller inside storage. Move all drives from blade to storage.
