Can't change VC Domain Administrator Password

Hello All,

I've never had this problem before.  When I log in as Administrator, I can't change the password.  I go to the normal Local Users section, and try to edit the account password.  I get the following error:

Permission denied, the object does not have permission to access the requested data.

One idea I had was to create a new admin account, and use that separate account to reset the original account password.

Andrew

Hi,

For resetting the VC Domain Administrator password and DNS settings, refer page 116 in the below guide.

Re: Can't change VC Domain Administrator Password

are you sure you have the right privilige?

if you click "define" menu at the top of right-side panel, do you see all 4 items enabled

ethernet network

server profile

shared uplink set

SAN fabric

if not, you are not logged in as admin.

also, you can try to browse to global domain config menu and see if many of options there are enabled or disabled?

also, try to CREATE a new user with admin privilige, can u do that?
