Fibre channel ports on hpux 11.23, some are online others are not.
I have 7 bl860c blades and have installed hpux 11.23 on them, after all of them are booted I view the fibre channel ports using fcmsutil. I am expecting to see 2 ports online for each blade, but I see 2 on a couple of blades, 1 on a others and 0 on one blade. Any ideas why this may be happening. Thansk, Sudi

If you have moved VC Server Profiles from one Integrity blade to another, then that is likely the culprit. Virtual Connect firmware doesn't support moving/re-assigning VC Server Profiles with fiber configurations from one Integrity blade to another just yet. That feature will be forthcoming in a late 2Q VC firmware release. Thanks, Dave

I would first check the onboard administrator verifying that you have mezzanine cards for the required ports, or physically open the cabinet.
