HP 554FLB Flexible Network Adapter with SR-IOV support

Marting had a customer SR-IOV question:

Customer asked if the 554FLB adapter supports SR-IOV.

Checked the typical documents and found a mismatch.

VC 4.10 Release Notes state that 554FLB is supported. See Page 8 here.

QS of 554FLB do not state anything about SR-IOV support (QS of other adapters do).

Internal NIC chart (updated October 17th) says “not supported” for the 554FLB.

So…..who is right now? Is it just that NIC chart and QS are not updated yet to reflect the changes? Or is there a mistake in the Release Notes?

Just to keep you informed.

The 554 series (FLB, M etc.) is supported with SR-IOV. The VC release notes are correct.

QuickSpecs will be updated…
