HP Virtual Connect Manager 3.75 Browser functionality for IE 11

Hello,

 If I try to connect to Virtaul Connect Manager by using the Virtual Connect IP address I get "Your browser does not have the required functionality to run this application".   I can use the DNS name for the Virtual Connect and it connects fine and I can login. Windows 2008 IE 11. Firefox works either way.

Anyone know how to address this? I went through all the sign-in help instructions and haven't found a workaround yet.

Firefox works but IE11 doesn't?

Try compatibility mode or force IE to use a lower version (press F12, look at the screen symbol in the lower right corner).

Yes, Firefox works fine, IE11 does not.

 I have added the IP address into the Change Compatibility View Settings, and had to specifically check "Use Microsoft compatibility list" and IE 11 allows for the use of that IP address. Hate to think that I'd have to add every primary and secondary VC address to the list, (VCEM wants to connect by IP and VC failover on connect goes to the IP address).

Is there any reason to stay with this old firmware version?

For us, yes. Based on the module of blades we are using and also compatibilites with some versions of ESX.
