Info on the I/O Accelerator card and usage on blades

We had a query from a customer: "I have a customer who is looking to purchase a C7000 with several BL460c g6 blades. All of blades will be configured with an Emulex HBA Mezz card in slot 1 and half of the blades will have a P700 SAS switch in slot 2 and the other half will have the IO Accelerator in slot 2. Will there be a conflict with the blades having the IO Accelerator in slot 2 where there will be a SAS switch in slots 5 and 6 in the enclosure? I don’t think there will be a conflict but before I have this quoted, I wanted to verify this is a valid configuration." and our support team, Diane, had an answer for them: "From Quick Specs: The HP IO Accelerator mezzanine card differs from other c-Class mezzanine cards in that it does not connect to any c-Class Interconnect Module. This allows the use of the IO Accelerator in any open mezzanine slot in a c-Class chassis regardless of what types of Interconnect Modules might be installed."
