Packet loss with VC Flex10, ProCurve switches and VMWare

We have an odd situation where we see a lot of packet loss in our configuration after a complete power down of the environment. Everything had been running for months prior.

The Flex10 modules across two Virtual Connect modules have 4x10GB links uplinked to 2xProcurve 3800 switches. The config is based on Scenario 1.5 in the cookbook, with VLAN 802.1Q tagging with a SUS and LACP to VMWare vSphere. The Procurve switches are configured with a LACP trunk.

This has been working fine and now we have issues with around 10% packet loss and i've noticed one of the switches shutting down an interface due to LACP.

Does anyone have any thoughts or anyone else have this running with no issuse?

At the moment i've had to drop the SUS back to 1x10GB link just to get no packet loss which isnt a solution
