Virtual Connect 3.60: online switch to "extended vlan capacity" and "IGMP snooping"
Good morning,
we need to know if we can switch from legacy vlan capacity to extended vlan capacity without downtime within the two c7000 enclosures.(these are our physicaly vmware farms, so we have to switch online without losing any connections)
also we would like to know if we can set the IGMP snooping online without some downtime.
i hope someone have expiriance with those settings.
kind regards,
markus

Re: Virtual Connect 3.60: online switch to "extended vlan capacity" and "IGMP snoopin
Hi,
I can confirm that enabling the extended vlan capacity feature works without disruption. I performed it on v3.30 of VC firmware - which I think was the first version to support it.
I'm not sure about the IGMP snooping though... I havent changed this setting.
Regards,
Steve
