Virtual Connect components confusion and firmware update question ?
People,
When I log in to the HP Blade Onboard Administrator v4.40, I can see the following interconnect modules:
HP VC Flex-10 Enet Module (Bay 1&2)
Part Number: 455880-B21
Spare Part Number: 456095-001
Firmware Version: 4.01 2013-05-21T16:57:08Z
HP B-series 8/24c SAN Switch BladeSystem c-Class (Bay 5&6)
Part Number: AJ821A
Spare Part Number: 489865-001
Firmware Version: missing / not seen
So I wonder which one need or can be firmware updated ?

Re: Virtual Connect components confusion and firmware update question ?
HI albertwt
You can upgrade all of them, virtual connect module latest FW is 4.45, SAN switches firmware need to be checked from the san switch console, it will not show in the OA normally.

Re: Virtual Connect components confusion and firmware update question ?
Please go the the firmware page (left column in OA) and get the version of the virtual connect modules.
Then logon to the brocades and get the version from there.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
