VIrtual connect flex-10/10d firmware update

Good afternoon all.

I will be upgrading the firmware of 2 Flex10/10d modules this weekend from 4.20 up to 4.80.

The order I will be upgrading is 4.20 to 4.40 then to 4.50 followed by 4.63 and 4.80

The enviroment currentlly doesn't use SR-Iov so what I would like to check is what I need to do to ensure that the upgrade doesn't enable SR-IOV in any way as I am aware that that the first 2 hops might change SR-IOV.

Was the upgrade activity completed as scheduled? Did the upgrade go through without any issues?

Hi @DANDKS 

Fimrware upgrade has been put on hold due to other changes occuring this weekend within that environment.

Will keep you posted but could be a few more weeks before this update occurs.

Are there any plans for VC firmware that won't be reliant on Flash?

Hi @DANDKS 

Upgrade occured this weekend and we went to 4.85. 

There weren't any issues with Sr-Iov but 1 of the vlans failed and we had to power cycle  both modules to get it working again. 

Ticket has been logged with Hpe to see why this occurred
