Virtual Connect minimum speed picked up by Hyper-V guest instead of maximum
I'm working on deploying SR-IOV to a cluster that has BL460c Gen8 servers containing 554FLB. One thing I noticed is when SR-IOV is enabled it is picking up the Minimum speed set in Virtual Connect instead of the maximum speed like it is supposed to.
On the hosts it sees the maximum speed. Since I am configuring four flexnics on a server that only actually has two physical nics, it won't let me hard code the minimum and maximum speeds to 10Gbps on the nics I want for guest traffic. Does anyone know a way around this or at least get the guest Vm's to pickup the max speed so they won't be limited?
PS: I did test this and it showing 3Gbps my iperf test maxes out around 2.7Gbps and when I adjusted it to get a min 5.5Gbps I can now get in the 4.4Gbps. So it is the min speed being the problem.
