compatibility

I purchased this switch used (Ebay). I was reading through the manual and noticed that it supports ethernet_II and Ethernet_snap frame types. I am somewhat new to networking. Is this switch compatible with our TCP/IP peer-to-peer network? It also mentions 802.3 (raw) but the IP column isn't checked (only the IPX). I don't want to spend a lot of time with this if it won't work (I'll just turn around and sell it again...).

Please provide the exact model number and spare part number that is on the hub or switch that is being used. Then we can determine network compatibility.
