I have had my laptop for just over 2 years, suddenly would not start up. It tells me that the system has a problem due to possibly a power failure or it wasn't shut down properly, it give me choices to start up, safe mode, normal, etc. It tries to start up but just cycles back to the same screen.
After reading all of this, I realize that I have been very lucky that the problems did not start sooner. I am having the data retrieved now. I was considering attempting to get it fixed.....thinking about just flinging it from the deck and using it for skeet shooting practice....I am open to any better suggestions.
