Finding printers

I'm working on a network I'm trying to map out. It was designed before I started. When I try to tracepath or tracert the printer it shows up as 1 hop. I know the printer must run into a switch at some point, I just have no idea when it does or what switch it hooks into.

I think better you post it under "Networking" catagory rather than under Printers.
If you have the IP address and mac address I think a network guy can trace it and shut the port from the switch which is connected to this printer port. Try that way . if your labeling is proper at end user N/W port this method may help you
