Same problem
I have a HP Compaq nx9005 and a belkin 7010 54mbps PCMCIA card.
All worked fine when first installed, but I had to format and reload XP from the HP CD. Not worked since. I have a 02Micro cardbus, I presume the drives on the CD must be different from the pre-installed. I've searched for new drivers with no luck.
Come on HP, you must admit you have a problem here. Help us all our.
Any help or comments anyone?

Re: Same problem
Hemanth Gurunath Basrur,
Thanks for that. I did do that the other day and when I loaded the broadcom drivers over the belkin it worked.
Two things, I now have 2 icons in my systray for the broadcom utility, why?
And secondly, since I don't have a broadcom pcmcia card why did this work. I have found hundreds of people on the net with the same problem with different wireless cards. Should you not explain on your website why Belkin and other card users have to do this. I can't believe that most people will try to fix their problem by downloading the drivers for a different card. The problem is reported with the Evo laptops and reported on this site.

Re: Same problem
the belkin cards, along with hundreds of others, are based on the broadcom chipset. my Dell truemobile 1400 (which dell now denies ever making) is also based on the broadcom chipset.
the dell drivers are the raw broadcom drivers, with a few strings changed, and i doubt the belkin drivers are any different.

There have been Innumerable people who have helped me. Of course, I've managed to piss most of them off.
