wireless solution
Everyone seems to have a similar problem with their wirless on most hp laptops correct? Here is the answer for most of you with this problem. Goto device manager and scroll down to system devices then scroll down to system board. Then update device but install manually do not let the system search itself. Once in the list of devices goto hewlitt packard or the computer name of your computer. Scroll the list looking for [Hp configuration interface] then load it. Then go back to device manager and load your broadcom on manually. You have to update its driver and then manually search do not let the system do it. Then goto network drivers click. Then hit have disk. In the next screen hit browse then scroll to program files under local disk c then open up all of broadcom from program files. It should show BCMWL5.inf or something of that nature. Then click ok an pick broadcom 802.1 b/g and load this should fix the problem you all may have to restart the computer. If someone needs help doing all of this email me at chad.35@hotmail.com. This should keep all of you from having to be frustrated with tech support.
