iLO firmware requirement for Compute Ops Management
Automatic and on-demand iLO firmware updates—
On June 15, the iLO firmware requirement for Compute Ops Management will change to iLO 5 2.70 or later to enable continued access to the Compute Ops Management firmware update features. To facilitate this change and future changes, Compute Ops Management will install iLO firmware updates automatically starting with iLO 5 2.70. This feature is enabled by default for all new and previously added servers and server groups.
Updates are performed in small batches between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. based on the local time of each application instance. Depending on the number of servers associated with an application instance, it might take 2–3 weeks for an update to be installed on your servers. To complete a successful update, servers must be in the Connected state with an active subscription (Standard or Enhanced). This update requires an iLO reset but it does not require a server reboot.
More information can be found through the Compute Ops Management Application in HPE GreenLake.
