Re: 5700 upgrade from R2432P05 to R2432P06
If the command's output is really:
display version comp-matrix file ipe flash:/5700-CMW710-R2432P06.ipe Verifying the file flash:/5700-CMW710-R2432P06.ipe on slot 2............Done. Boot image: 5700-cmw710-boot-r2432p06.bin Version: 7.1.045 System image: 5700-cmw710-system-r2432p06.bin Version: 7.1.045-Release 2432P06 Version compatibility list: 7.1.045-Feature 2426 7.1.045-Feature 2427 7.1.045-Feature 2428 7.1.045-Feature 2429 7.1.045-Feature 2430 7.1.045-Feature 2431 7.1.045-Release 2416 7.1.045-Release 2418P01 7.1.045-Release 2418P06 7.1.045-Release 2422 7.1.045-Release 2422P01 7.1.045-Release 2422P02 7.1.045-Release 2423 7.1.045-Release 2432P01 7.1.045-Release 2432P02 7.1.045-Release 2432P03 7.1.045-Release 2432P06 Version dependency boot list: 7.1.045 Slot Upgrade Way 1 Reboot 2 Reboot
Personally I tend to trust that output instead of a text on a paragraph of cited Release Notes.

Re: 5700 upgrade from R2432P05 to R2432P06
Well, it looks strange to me that 2 near minor releases - 05 and 06 are not compatible, while 06 is compatible with 03 and earlier.
In 05 release notes https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-a00035480en_us&docLocale=en_US Table 3 ISSU compatibility list
Current version Earlierversion Compatibility
5700-CMW 710-R 2432P05 5700-CMW 710-R 2432P03 Yes 05 and 03 are compatible.
So how 05 and 06 can be not?
Contacted HPE support, have no reply for more then 12 hours :-(
I have 24*7 support ;-)

Re: 5700 upgrade from R2432P05 to R2432P06
Slesru,
I agree with Parnassus. Mistakes can be made in the release notes. Your recourse is to reboot into the new release since the version update is not compatible with ISSU.
Sorry.
Regards,
David

Slesru,
Can you post your case number so I can look it up and see where it is at?
Thanks!
