Cisco + HP SFPs on 3COM 4800G?

Hi,



having many Cisco and HP SFP/mini GBIC modules, I am asking myself whether I could use them into e.g. a 3COM 4800G?



I know, SFPs are coded, so how will the 3COM device react?

I already used Linksys SFP's in 5500G-EI and 4500 switches without any problems. Try to insert the transceivers in the switches, it will not damage your devices.
