Configure 4500 ( 3CR17562-91 )
Dear Team.
We will install the software using the Language Lab LAN system, this software uses multicasting system on the LAN, when we test other uses of our software switch to normal (connected), but when using 3com switch then we lost the connection between the computer teacher to student, we predicted that the switch 3com has a broadcast system to protect software that uses multicasting which usually are in IGMP features, we've tried to switch hub managble other brands as well and managed to connect without any configuration stuff (management software switch). therefore we want to know how to enter the 3com management software to be able to open the multicast system of protection contained in the 3com. Also please give instructions step by step to configure any feature that would protect the system multicast.
So thank you.

You should enable IGMP Snooping in the VLAN used to this application. The default VLAN 1 has the IGMP Snooping enabled by default, but if you are using another VLAN that you created, you need to enable the feature:
vlan
igmp snooping enable
HTH
vlan
igmp snooping enable
HTH
