traffic accounting on HPE 5900 switch
Hello,
Another predominantly Cisco world Network Engineer here looking for assistance with HP equivalent setup.
Basically need to get statistics for source and destination traffic for traffic going across a specific interface on our 5900 Data Centre switch. There is no IP accounting command that I can find on HPE switches.
How do I implement something similar to ip accounting command on HPE 5900 switch to get traffic stats generated on the switch itself to identify source and destination traffic across a specific interface?
From what I searched online, came across below, but not sure how can I use it to generate the stats I want:
# Configure a traffic accounting action in traffic behavior database to count traffic in bytes. system-view [Sysname] traffic behavior database [Sysname-behavior-database] accounting byte
Can someone please provide me some more information on this?
Thank you.

Re: traffic accounting on HPE 5900 switch
Thanks.
Just to ensure we are on the right track with this, I am after source and destination IP addresses for traffic that traverses a specific interface on my HP 5900.
How do I implement something similar to ip accounting command on HPE 5900 switch to get traffic stats generated on the switch itself to identify source and destination traffic across a specific interface?
