NAT Traversal on HP 850 Unified Controller

Hi,  I have remote AP behind router with NAT.  The AP cannot connect to controller.

How to enable NAT traversal feature on the HP Unified controller? 

I suspect this is the issue, because if I disable NAT on the router, the AP can connect to controller.

Hi,

I have not tested this, but you could give the hybrid remote ap option a try:

on an AP template (or AP-group):

hybrid-remote-ap enable

Basic idea is to allow the AP to continue offer some wireless services when connection to pri/sec controllers would be down.

There is not explicit mention of NAT in any docs, but the provided use case shows AP deployment over the internet...

Give it a try I would say,
