about MSA1000 with IBM P630

Our company bought IBM 7028-6C4,HP Modular Storage Array 1000 (MSA1000),both are second-hand equipments that used for us practice.IBM 7028-6C4 used fc point to point connected HP MSA1000.

Now, I have a problem for above environment:

In AIX , I use lspv command that lists MSA 1000 LUNs with AIX format disks,but I can’t mkvg with those disks,the mkvg command prompted me unknow I/O errors.

My questions are:

1. If I must install MSA1000 drivers for AIX?

2. Where I can download the MSA1000 for AIX drivers?

Hello,

have you serial access to the MSA1000 or how did you configured it? I don't think that you have to install any special driver.

btw: AIX isn't supported with the MSA1000.
