We have an EVA 4000 and I have the Max BTU output on the device but what I need is the BTU Baseline with 0 drives and BTU addition Per Drive making the assumption that all drives are 146GB 10,000 RPM drives

Solution
Hi,
These are my guesses based on the QuickSpecs for the EVA4000, and an MSA30 - the PSUs are similar to those in the M5314 shelves used in the EVA.
Controller Pair = 444 BTU/hr
Empty disk enclosure = 280 BTU/hr
Each Disk = 71.8 BTU/hr
EVA QuickSpecs:
http://h18006.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12408_div/12408_div.html
MSA30 QuickSpecs:
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/11738_div/11738_div.html
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Rob
