Re: clarion disk array problem.
The clarion system has a console where you can check what is assigned to what.
On an hpux server:
ioscan -fnC disk
This will show disks attached to the server.

Re: clarion disk array problem.
If some LUNs were allocated from the storage to the server then in ioscan the same should be visible as NO_HW status when the storage is not available.

Re: clarion disk array problem.
You can install Navicli command line tool to manage Clariion disks remotely. Download and install it. Also, # ioscan -fnC disk will help you.

Re: clarion disk array problem.
Either using the Navisphere (via) http, but you need to install on your local PC
or
use navicli commands on the host

Re: clarion disk array problem.
You can see the disks with ioscan and through SAM you will be able to see the array, if its configured.

Re: clarion disk array problem.
If the EMC Powerpath software is used in the server, you could execute the following commands to display information about the conection clariion - server:
# powermt check ---- connection check
or
# powermt display [dev=all] ---- display information about luns and special files
The EMC Powerpath allows failover and load balancing in the connection to storage system.
In addition, errors conection are written to /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log
