Connecting D3610 to P812 SAS Controller

Hi,

Can I connect a HPE D3610 Enclosure to HP DL380 G6 through P812/1GB?

As per QuickSpecs HP DL380 G6 server and P812 controller is not supported  for HPE D3610 Disk enclosure
