EMS alert with MSA1000 / hpux11iv2
How can I do to have hpux EMS alert when I have a pb on the MSA1000 (FC) ?
I have nothing (syslog, etc..) when I have a degraded RAID (ie I pull a disk from the MSA array).

Re: EMS alert with MSA1000 / hpux11iv2
Read the EMS alert and try to find the meaning of this (you did not post it - you cannot expect an answer ...) and connect to the CLI and get the status.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: EMS alert with MSA1000 / hpux11iv2
Hi,
Can you check which version of the OnlineDiags you have installed? Just run 'cstm' and see the version number. If it's recent, you should have 'msamon' running, which should report problems with the MSA1000.
See http://www.docs.hp.com/en/diag/stm/stm_upd.htm#table for the versions, and more about msamon here - http://docs.hp.com/en/diag/ems/msamon.htm and here - http://docs.hp.com/en/diag/ems/emd_msamon.htm
