Re: EVA4400 upgrade to XCS 9520000
have you restarted the CV server? You can check the names with SSSU. If SSSU list the vdisks with the same name, you maybe have to rename them all. When did the failure happen? directly after the upgrade?
Best regards,
Patrick

Re: EVA4400 upgrade to XCS 9520000
Did you take a 'CAPTURE CONFIGURATION' and /or 'ls vdisk,hosts,...' before the upgrade?
Open a call with HP and ask if they can recover the mapping.

Older versions can cause that to happen.
Once you have it installed, rename the vdisks.

Re: EVA4400 upgrade to XCS 9520000
Thank you for your response. I have summarised the status below.
1. CV already upgraded to 9.1
2. CV server was restarted after the upgrade
3. SSSU also displays 'Temporary Names'
I don't remember capturing information before the upgrade, so i may need to manually find out which disk belongs where, and add them.
Will the moving vdisk to folders cause any issues/impact to the hosts accessing those vdisks?

Re: EVA4400 upgrade to XCS 9520000
I would advise you to upgrade to 09522000 and not the 09520000.
There are some minor updates that you might want. If you have 09520000 installed and all I/O modules have firmware version 0073, an upgrade to 09522000 can be done online.
