Re: How to connect onto the MSA 2000 model 2012fc ?
Hello Lisa,
you can controller A with the ip address 10.0.0.2 and controller B with 10.0.0.3. The subnetmask is 255.255.255.0. You can connect the controller with a serial connection and the parameters 115200 baud, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit and no flow control. After connecting to the serial CLI you can set a new ip address with the command:
# set network-parameters ip 172.16.99.10 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 172.16.99.1 controller a
or
# set network-parameters ip 172.16.99.11 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 172.16.99.1 controller b
Both controllers need different ip addresses. But you can also change the ip over the normal web interface. :)
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Patrick
