MSA 1500cs to MSA 1500cs

I have a MSA 1500cs with dual contorller . One of the controller has some problem. Our HP vendor said we have problem in back pane of  MSA. So we decide to change the entire MSA  1500cs to another MSA 1500cs .

Is it possible to do it . If so what should i take care while doing it .

Well, first thing: make sure you have a good backup, as there is always a chance that something goes wrong.

Then, make a documentation about the MSA1500cs configuration. While it is stored on the disk drives, there is a small chance that it can get lost.

I've never swapped one myself, but as far as I can tell, the node/port WWNs is stored on the MSA1500cs backplane, so be prepared to modify any switch zoning.
