Hello!
What is the preferred way to move the MSA20 box to the another MSA1500 controller?
Now it's working in a MSA1500 system, which contain two RAID5 volume (one is failed - one disk missing) and one RAID0.
Will the configuration (volumes) be recognized on the another MSA1500 system?
Second question:
Is it possible to connect the MSA20 to the DL140 server (with StorageWorks 642)? Will the array controller recognize the volumes? I saw only 12 RAID0 volumes in the boot ACU(F8), Is there any other opportunity for this?
Thx,
Istvan

Re: MSA20 move to another MSA1500 or DL140
Thx.
And what is the preferred method to remove the MSA20? I reconnect it, and the MSA1500 said "Missing Volumes" after boot. But the MSA30 arrays work fine.
Unfortunatelly I can't use the ACU, because said: "ERROR DETECTED The controller has an invalid configuration in witch overlapping logical drives exist."

I move this tread to Storage\SAN.
