Raid5 parity parity duration

Hi,

I have just added a new disk 9.GB into a RAID 5 array on a 221 Smart Controler. There 3 x 9.1GB disks before (w/ultr/scsi), and with the limitation of the 221 controller had to re-do the whole array and RAID5.

Have done that, but now after 8hours, it's still trying to build the parity. How long does this thing usually take?? I need this server up ASAP.
