XP12000 unable to see MSA 1500cs LUNs
In commandview, in the external storage section, I can see the MSA 1500, but I'm unable to see the luns I'm presenting to it.
The MSA has 2 direct connections to the XP12000 on port 5D and 6D
XP12000 Firmware = 50-08-05/00
MSA Firmware = 7.00b1500 (SGA0709030)
Current Redundancy Mode: Asym-Active/Active
ACL is enabled:
Connection WWPN Units
XP12K5D 50060E80-042B9E43 0, 1, 2, 3
XP12K6D 50060E80-042B9E53 0, 1, 2, 3
Inaccessible Units: None
show connections:
Connection Name: XP12K6D
Host WWNN = 50060E80-042B9E53
Host WWPN = 50060E80-042B9E53
Profile Name = XP Storage Array
Unit Offset = 0
Controller 1 Port 1 Status = Offline
Controller 2 Port 1 Status = Offline
Connection Name: XP12K5D
Host WWNN = 50060E80-042B9E43
Host WWPN = 50060E80-042B9E43
Profile Name = XP Storage Array
Unit Offset = 0
Controller 1 Port 1 Status = Offline
Controller 2 Port 1 Status = Offline
Not sure why Status = Offline. Perhaps this needs to be resolved first.
This is a new MSA install. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: XP12000 unable to see MSA 1500cs LUNs
It turns out that there are issues with firmware v7.00b on the MSA 1500 and the XP12000.
The resolution was to downgrade to v6.86b1 and everything is fine now.
