300G drives on HSG80

Anyone know what firmware version level is required to use the 300G drives on HSG80 controllers?

Hi Rob,

I don't believe 300GB drives are compatible with HSG80s, even with the latest version of ACS 8.8-4.

The drive matrix here:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00572066/c00572066.pdf

states 146GB drives maximum.

It's been some time now that I've read the current HSG firmware is programmed to explicitly reject 300GB disk drives.
