I replaced a Win2003 server with a Win2008 server. Tried to install CV EVA 7.0 and it failed - not compatible w/Win2008. I acquired CV EVA 9 and attempted to run but it failed, saying CV EVA 7 was still installed.
I tried to remove all traces of files, folders, and even registry entries that I could find but still no luck.
What am I missing?

Re: CV EVA Installation Problem - Win2008
The first string had it:
\\Common Files\\InstallShield\\Universal.
1. Delete the VPD (Vital Product Data) if present:
a)HP_MasterInstaller70
b)HP_MasterInstaller701
c)HP_MasterInstaller6XX
That was the block of files I missed.
