HP StorageWorks Command View EVA Software Suite on server 2012,the server 2012 requirements.

I have installed the commandview on the server 2012,and the server 2012 just have a LAN IP address ,that is not belong to SAN network ,I have configed an IP on my HP P6000 EVA,Now I can ping the storage IP address ,but when I login into my CV web page,I can not find storage equipment, what is wrong?

should I have to put the CV server 2012 into the SAN network ?

thanks

Re: HP StorageWorks Command View EVA Software Suite on server 2012,the server 2012 requirements.

In order to use CV on a server, the server needs a SAN connection (FC) to the EVA.

Otherwise you can only use the management module on the EVA directly (array based management - ABM).

Hope this helps!

Just make sure you are using the current version on the ABM, you will found it at http://software.hp.com , search for P6000 and look for AMB recovery.

Make sure your EVA runs current firmware which is XCS 11300000.

Hope this helps!
