Ok, gaps in my knowledge again Im afraid!
How do i get the tech support output from the MSA controller(s)?

Will the ACU CLI last instruction you gave me, do this, or is it a seperate thing?

yah its seperate things, you can collect the tech_support output by hooking up a RZ cable in the MSA1500 controllers RZ connector (looks like a normal RJ45 connector in front of the controller) you need to use a com port on your PC/Laptop and configure the speed as 19200 8N1 and you will get a CLI prompt. then Run
show tech_support command to collect logs set the capturing on the hyperterm..
