hp Workstation xw6600-Lüfter drehen nach RAM-Erweiterung dauerhaft extrem hoch

Hallo Community,

ich bin neu hier im Forum und habe keine Ahnung ob ich mit meinem Anliegen hier richtig bin. Wenn nicht bitte ich um Nachsehen und Hilfe bei meinem Problem.

Bei meiner Frage dreht es sich um eine hp Workstation xw6600 mit der folgenden Hard- und Softwareausstattung/-Konfiguration:

Prozessoren: 2x Intel Xeon QC E5450

RAM: 8x 4GB Samsung 4Rx8 PC2-5300F-555 ECC (acht identische Module, gleiche Latenzen usw.)

Grafikkarte:  2x ATI FireGL V5600

Betriebssystem: Windows 7 Professional x64 SP1 inkl. aller Updates

Problem:

Bei Bestückung der ungeraden (weißen) Speicherbänke bis 16GB läuft das System normal und leise im Quad-Channel.

Sobald die schwarzen RAM-Bänke bestückt werden dreht ein oder mehrere Lüfter dauerhaft extrem hoch, so dass die Workstation nah an einen ProLiant-Server vom Lärm heran kommt.

Bisherige Maßnahmen:

HP BIOS und sonstige Updates wurden durchgeführt und brachten keine Veränderung. Bei Ausbau der Speichermodule aus den schwarzen RAM-Bänken läuft das System wieder ruhig. Auch Versuche mit RAM-Speichermodulen anderer Hersteller bringen bei Bestückung der schwarzen Speicherbänke das gleiche unbefriedigende Ergebnis.

Die Workstation ist innen und außen inkl. aller Lüfter sauber, kein Staub oder andere Ablagerungen.

Woran kann es liegen und vor allem was kann ich dagegen tun?
