Printer Problem

I have an old B110a Photosmart printer that has worked fine for years, but right now, after I have renewed all the Ink cartridges (original HP 364 of course). the magenta has become a problem. I have aligned the print heads, cleared the printheads, generated printer quality reports etc., and a couple of times I got an error message alerting me to shut down the printer and start again. However, the problem remains, the brand new magenta still doesn't work properly. 

I did remember to shake all the cartridges well before inserting them.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can make the magenta work?
