Does VS 2005 run on Windows Storage Server 2003 R2

I guess the title is my question, I have a DL 380 NAS running windows Storage Server 2003 R2, and before I go through and do it, has anyone done it and is it possible, and does it work good? I see the system requirements for MSVS2005 R2

but they don't list storage server 2003 so I'm wondering since it's in the "Standard" vein, anyone know?
