EVA4400无法进行初始化

客户一台EVA4400从广东搬到北京之后一直未启来过，闲置了三个月后要求维修好，刚开始CV根本找不到存储，并且两个控制器自动来回重启，经过升级firmware,更换电源，中板后CV总算能找到存储了，但就是不能做初始化，最后case升级到二线，二线工程师给了个如何清除metadata数据的文档，做完果然能够初始化存储了，现分享一下：

1. Halt, or otherwise shut down both controllers:

To halt, connect the MSA cable to the manufacturing port of each controller.

See SAW article titled HP StorageWorks 4400 Enterprise Virtual Array - How to Connect to the Controller Serial Line (mfg Port) (mmr_na-192283-3).

Type <cntrl>k . This halts the controller.

Repeat for the second controller, so both are halted.

You should now be at the mindy prompt (:).

2. Type the following:

:df ^j - df = display debug flags, then <cntrl>j for return. Should be 0.
:df 1 ^j - set debug flags to 1 -> prompt for go
:rs - restart this controller

You will then see the following menu.

3. Type f at the prompt (set debug flags).

Enter: f to set/change debug flags during start [1]
p to set/change print flags during start [1ffff]
G or g to start
w to enter system WWID
t to change frontend port type default setting(s)
c to scrub cache
s to scrub disk metadata &colon; s

You will then see the menu again.

4. Type g (Go).

Enter: f to set/change debug flags during start [1]
p to set/change print flags during start [1ffff]
G or g to start
w to enter system WWID
t to change frontend port type default setting(s)
c to scrub cache
s to scrub disk metadata &colon; g

Now you will be prompted to set the debug flags.

6. Type 00000000 , then <cntrl>j (return at mindy).

After Scrub, then init.
