nbx smtp authentication
We have a NBX v 5000 running 6.5.22P03. We have moved to Exchange 2010 and are requiring smtp authenication to send email. We have a few users setup to receive off site notificiations via email. I can't find a place to add a username and password on the NBX to send email. Can the NBX be setup to send a username and password to the email server so it can continue sending off site notifications.
I found http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=110&prodSeriesId=4235359&prodTypeId=12883&objectID=c02601757 which says the NBX does support smtp authentication for voicemail and VPIM, but not for offsite notification emails. However that link is for 6.0 and not 6.5.
