nfs mountpoint error
Hi Admins,
I have nfs mount point, which is currently not mounted.
If i try mounting, throws error --> device is busy..
fuser shows nothing.
I can mount the remote dir using different mount point.
I have restarted nfs.client but ended up with below error.
/sbin/init.d/nfs.client start
Starting NFS CLIENT subsystem
Starting up nfs4cbd daemon
/usr/sbin/nfs4cbd
Starting up nfsmapid daemon
Mounting remote NFS file systems ...
nfs mount: /usr/sap/R3D/banktransfer: Device busy
FAILURE CODE: 1
Mount failed! Possible local filesystem mount.
If local filesystem, then nfs.server will mount it.
Not able list the inode number. ls -i shows folder is unreadable.
and not able remove also.. permission denied error...
Using root user.
Please suggest.
Regards
himacs

Re: NFS mountpoint error
Have you cd into that directory?
What HP-UX version are you using?

Re: NFS mountpoint error
Hi,
And i tried with creating new folder with same name. But ended up with file already exists message. So the inode value is not corrupted.
