How to disable the trusted mode in HP-UX 11.31

Hi all,

I have enabled the trusted mode in hp-ux 11.31.

Kindly help me to disable the trusted mode of password policys.

/usr/lbin/tsconvert -r

tsconvert will convert back to standard security. However, under the Trusted system, users (and root) could set passwords much longer than 8 characters. tsconvert will not be able convert the longer password into something usable so those users (and potentially root) will be unable to login. Be sure to set a short password (8 or less chars) BEFORE converting back to standard mode.

why you want to revert from trusted mode , its at least better than normal and gives you lots of options.
