SC11Xe - windows 2008 R2

Hi all

we have a scsi ultrium tape 448; I have to move it on a ML350G6 running windows 2008R2. ultrium 448 scsi tape is certified both on windows 2008R2 and on ML350G6, but the the are no windows 2008R2 drivers for scsi controller SC11Xe!! is it possibile? are there any other R2-compatible scsi controller?
drivers for windows 2008 x64 non R2 cause a blue screen error.
any help is appreciated.

Wow that's true, there aren't any drivers for R2 for the SC11Xe!

It has this card:

HP StorageWorks U320e SCSI Dual Channel Host Bus Adapter AH627A

If you search for AH627A on HP's drivers page you get to this:

Which has 2008 R2 for that card.

unfortunately this controller matches both the server and the os, but not the tape.

Might want to call HP on this one to get some attention.

Hi all,

We have scsi ultrium tape drive 1760 which is connected to DL380G7 (WinSrv 2008 R2 Standard SP1 is installed) via HP SC11Xe Host Bus Adapter (p/n 412911-B21).

And I am getting Hard write errors in BE 2010 R3 and read and write errors during the Read/Write tests in HP StorageWorks Library and Tape Tools software.

Now HBA is using Windows Driver.
I have found out that HP Business Support Centre doesnâ t have drivers for HP SC11Xe Host Bus Adapter for WinSrv 2008 R2.
Only for WinSrv 2008 drivers are here: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=3191202〈=en&cc=ca&prodTypeId=329290&prodSeriesId=3191201&taskId=135

When I tried tests on the server, where WinSrv 2008 W32 is installed, all tests passed successfully.

Could you please clarify if HP SC11Xe Host Bus Adapter (p/n 412911-B21) is supported by WinSrv 2008 R2 or not.

Hi Folks,

From the Quick specs of this HBA, i don't see the Windows 2008 R2 is listed. http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12566_div/12566_div.HTML

The HBA is not yet certified for this OS
