HP LTO5 Device Drivers?

Hello,

I have a Quantum Scalar i500 tape library I am setting up on Windows 2008 R2 x64, via fiber channel.  The Quantum site says to find the LTO5 device drivers on the HP website, but gives no link.  Where can I find this on HP's website?  Windows device manager sees the tape drives as "HP Ultrium 5-SCSI SCSI Sequential Device".  Thanks!

Re: HP LTO5 Device Drivers?

hi there,

can you kindly let me know whether this link is working? i cannot see the download option and require hp lto5 ultrium drivers for windows 2008 (sas if possible?) - though I am told that regardless of whether its sas/fc or scsi, it should be the same driver?

Re: HP LTO5 Device Drivers?

Hi, Jason.

Hope this message reached you...

I am trying to locate LTO 5 (fiber channel) drivers for Windows Server 2008 R2 (I would assume x64) for drives located in an Oracle SL3000.

The link in your original post seems like it's no longer valid.

Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Barry

Re: HP LTO5 Device Drivers?

for such old links simply replace hp.com with hpe.com and you are there. click version history to get the newer versions

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
