NC7131 not displayed when trying to configure team.

I had to replace NC7131 on Proliant DL380 G2 with Win2000 SP4. OS does recognize the adapter but when I try to configure team NC7131 is not displayed as option, only two onboard NC3163 NICs. I have updated drivers for all adapters as well as teaming software.

Re: NC7131 not displayed when trying to configure team.

Hello,
thanks for replay.

Yes, those were the drivers i have used. Problem is that NIC wasn├В┬┤t recognized by those drivers upon first installation. I had to put intel drivers first and only then could i update drivers with those you suggested. Same thing happened with two NC7131 cards, both obtained from HP.

Best regards,

Check if the card represents itself as NC7131. For almost every NC7131 card we ordered from HP in last half year we got the NIC card which represent as INTEL PRO/1000 T Server Adapter (what card actually is). I think that somebody forgot to flash HP firmware on the card. That card is not shown in HP Network Configuration Utility so you can't configure team.
