How to connect Host OS to Guest OS using VMware?

Hi, i'm using VMware for make networking simulation but i've problem and need some help.

1. I'm using WinXP sp2 for Host OS (192.168.2.2)
2. I'm using Debian for Guest OS (192.168.2.3)

the problem is, i can't ping from host to guest, but the other hand i can ping from guest to host... :( what should i do?

Hi Teddy

I assume that in your Guest OS the ethernet NIC is configured as NAT. If so, you will be able to ping from Guest to Host but not in opposite way.

Try to change the VMWare settings of the NIC os the Guest OS to Bridged and try to ping now.
