General Network Error
Hi all,
we have been having some problems with our BL10e blade servers for some time now. Sporadically( few times daily), we receive the following error:
[DBNETLIB][ConnectionRead (recv()).]General network error. Check your network documentation..
These blades are webservers that connect to a single SQL server. The servers are all windows 2k SP3, with latest patches as of 6/24/03. Latest HP NIC drivers as well, v6.4.14.51. I seriously doubt this is due to network traffic since utilization is at max 2%. Pings to data server return <10ms. Also have changed team configuration from Smart Switch to Load Balance to Fault Tolerant so no avail. I am lost here, so any help is a godsend. Thanks.

Re: General Network Error
It's more of a request timeout than a network timeout, but because the data was not received prior to the timeout, a network error is assumed.
